Parenting Today's Teens

Mark and his wife, Jan, have been pouring out their passion for struggling teens since they were teens themselves. They launched their decades-long ministry as Young Life Leaders in Tulsa, Oklahoma at age 19. In 1988, the Gregstons moved to Hallsville, Texas, and founded Heartlight Ministries, one of the country’s finest residential counseling centers for teens. Mark has authored more than a dozen books and hundreds of articles about parenting teens in a difficult culture and is the host of nationally acclaimed radio program Parenting Today’s Teens — heard on more than 1,700 outlets. His trademark dry wit, wisdom and biblical insight is also shared through seminars, retreats and conferences. The couple has two grown children and four grandchildren, but remain actively involved in the lives of the teens and staff at Heartlight.
